Srilankan government has exhorted against journey visits to Buddhist locales in India while Srilankans coming back from abroad have been encouraged to remain in their homes for about fourteen days in the midst of developing apprehensions of COVID 19.
Secretary of Budhasasana Ministry Bandula Harischandra said as more than 90 percent of pioneers going for journey visits are older individuals, going right now viewed as dangerous.
Spots like BodhGaya and Sarnath are well known among Srilankan travelers and thousands visit each year to these spots.
