#4 Wildlife
If adventure is in your blood and being close to nature and wildlife is something you seek, Sri Lanka has it covered. It is also a haven for budding and professional photographers. The chance to spot the wild upclose is high and worth every trip.

#5 City life
Like the hustle and bustle? Want to be amidst the place of action? Enjoy partying all night, trying your luck at a local casino and having late night drinks at the happening bars? There are places for that too in Sri Lanka.
Lisbon Mall , Colombo

#6 Offbeat tourist places
You are someone who doesn’t follow the crowd. You pave your path, take your time to explore the land, your way. Cookie cutter packages and tourist guides do not tickle your fancy. If that is the case, head to the least explored places of Sri Lanka before it gets commercial.
Jaffna
Where: Jaffna.
When: Throughout the year.
#7 Diving
Sri Lanka has some amazing diving spots and the corals here are beautiful to explore. Some of the beaches in the south coast of Sri Lanka has professional diving centers such as PADI and even offers courses for beginners. If you are an expert, come and rent your gear and explore the beautiful Indian Ocean. For those who are not keen to dive but would still like to explore the corals, glass bottomed boats are available and a boat ride will take care of your needs too!
Where: Unawatuna, Hikkaduwa and Weligama.
When: November – April.
#8 Witnessing Whales
Whales are such majestic creatures that being close to one is a dream come true for many. In Sri Lanka you have an opportunity to witness the world’s most endangered species – Blue whales. You will also get to see spinner dolphins and flying fishes if you are lucky.
Where: (South Coast) Mirissa & (East Coast) Trincomalee.
When: (South Coast) November – April & (East Coast) May – September.
If you have six days, I would suggest you spend two days in each destination based on your interest. There’s so much to see and do in Sri Lanka! Enjoy.
