The photographer decided to edit seven of the photos, and they are all rather creepy.
When you book a family photo shoot, you expect to come away with a picture which will hang in pride of place in your home.
You want to capture those precious years and show them off to family and friends.
So when one family saw the results of their shoot they were, to say the least, a tad surprised.
It turns out their 'professional' photographer decided to edit the images a little bit.
The photographer wanted to remove the shadows, but actually managed to remove their faces completely.
So instead of happy, laughing faces, the photos now look very bizarre - and they're actually a bit creepy.
Luckily, the family have a good sense of humour and decided to share the photos online for their family and friends to enjoy.
Writing on Facebook, Pam Dave Zaring wrote: "Ok. This is NOT a joke. We paid a photographer, who claimed to be a professional, $2-250 for a family photo shoot.
